This cut will allow the disconnector to ride a ramp down gently and smoothly into the frame as opposed to hitting the breach face and being forced down into the frame. This results in a smoother slide operation and less wear on the disconnector. It also eliminates the hang up felt when racking the slide. This service is performed with the cnc to achieve the most accurate and even ramp and finish.
