This cut will allow the disconnector to ride a ramp down gently and smoothly into the frame as opposed to hitting the breach face and being forced down into the frame. This results in a smoother slide operation and less wear on the disconnector. It also eliminates the hang up felt when racking the slide. This service is performed with the cnc to achieve the most accurate and even ramp and finish. When looking to see if your 1911/2011 can be Marvel Cut please reference our main product photo. If your disco rail is not full width (the groove in the rear should be fully cut into the rail, not cut off on the right side) we CANNOT Marvel Cut your slide. We also CANNOT Marvel Cut any Staccato HD Models, their rails are beveled and not full width.
