With our in‑house CNC, we mill your optic cut directly into your slide for a lower, more secure mounting position than plate systems can provide. This gives you a better seat, tighter fit, and cleaner setup for your optic. You can also add Cerakote to refinish the slide in the same order. Note: On this cut, your rear sight is removed.

Cerakote color selection

• Go to Cerakote’s H Series colors page: Cerakote H Series colors

• Choose your color.

• Enter the exact color name into the Cerakote text box on this product.

• If not choosing coating, simply enter N/A in the required text box.

Optic and bundling

• Already have an optic? Ship it with your slide and we’ll mount it before we send your slide back.

• Need an optic? Add a qualifying Holosun optic from our store to your cart and we’ll mount it for you.

• Adding a qualifying Holosun optic unlocks our Optic Cut bundling discount.

After checkout:

• Box up your slide (stripped or complete) and your optic if you already have one.

• Include a printed copy of your order confirmation in the box. Slides received without the printout may take longer to process.

If your 1911 has rear sights installed when we receive it, we’ll remove them before cutting. All removed sights are returned with your slide.

Refund and cancellation terms

• Optic cuts cancelled after we receive your slide are subject to a 15% handling fee.

• Once machining has started, optic cuts are non‑refundable.
